SNAP Resources

In order to achieve our mission of strengthening our communities by strengthening our nonprofits, we have compiled several SNAP resources that may be beneficial to executives and boards of directors in terms of structure, governance, and management. These resources may be linked to other web pages or files that can be downloaded, typically formatted in Word.

There are many useful resources available to nonprofit organizations on the Internet. We would like to acknowledge several resources that have been extremely valuable in the process of gathering this collection of information, including Board Source, the INDEPENDENT SECTOR, Georgia Center for Nonprofits and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Note: Any information on this Web site addressing legal issues is provided as general guidance only, and should not be relied upon as legal advice. For legal advice on issues related to nonprofit organizations, please consult an attorney or a certified public accountant who can address your unique circumstances and consider applicable federal, state and local laws.
